TFC met up with Warner and Conner, the two members of the Nashville-based rock duo Radnor, who will perform on Sunday, December 6 in Atlanta as part of the #TYNO Tour, and the guys shared with us some details about themselves and their music.

The Fan Connection (TFC): Hi guys! So tell us a little bit about Radnor.

Warner: Connor and I met each other in the summer of 2012 at a music school. We started writing together soon after we met, and formed Radnor as a five-piece band in early 2013. Over the past couple years, we have been through a lot of changes in terms of our members and musical style, and have recently started new as a two-piece rock band.

TFC: That's very unique. There aren't very many young rock duos, so that's a great way to stand out in the musical landscape. Tell us about what each of you do in the band.

Conner: I play drums. He (Warner) sings and plays guitar.

TFC: What bands, artists or albums have inspired you musically?

Warner: Our music is inspired by a lot of different things. We both listen to bands like Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, Muse, etc., which definitely shows through in our own music. We find influence in a lot of pop music as well. I'm honestly on a huge One Direction kick right now, for example. We take a lot of ideas from pop music in terms of song structure and production, and blend those ideas in with our rock sound.

"It was such an amazing feeling to celebrate the album's release with over 100 of our friends and fans!"

TFC: So how long have you been together and what is your most memorable experience as a band?

Connor: As a two-piece, we've been together around six months now. My most memorable experience is probably the summer that we recorded our album. Warner moved in with me at my parents' house for a few months, and all of that time was spent recording, mixing, etc.

Warner: My most memorable experience was our album release show. It was such an amazing feeling to celebrate the album's release with over 100 of our friends and fans!

TFC: That's awesome! We love to hear about successful album launches. What are your long-term musical career goals?

Warner: I think we both have the same basic goal, which is to someday be able to sustain ourselves with only Radnor. I cannot wait for the day I can quit my job and spend all of my time doing what I love.

Connor: Agreed!

TFC: Do you know the bands on the #TYNO Tour personally, or have you ever shared the stage with them before?

Warner: We just recently played with 4 Door Theatre at Rocketown in Nashville. Unfortunately, we were setting up our gear outside the venue during their set, but they sounded great from outside! We look forward to sharing the stage with them again soon.

TFC: What has been your most exciting or interesting show to date?

Connor: We used to play a lot of festivals in Nashville, and there was one in particular where we seemed to connect with the audience more than ever. Based on the crowd's reactions while we were performing, and the people approaching us after our set, I feel like we made more fans that night than any show yet.

TFC: That's great! You know we love "connecting" at The Fan Connection! Anything else interesting about you that you want the fans to know?

Warner: If you order our album, we'll draw pictures on it for you at your request. Today I drew a rhino trying to hang out with uninterested unicorns. It looked okay.

Connor: We just got a Betta fish. His name is Leo, and he keeps spitting up his food. It is worrying me.

TFC: Oh no! We hope Leo stops doing that!
